In honor of this momentous occasion, the esteemed Australian singer, Ricki-Lee Coulter, will be appointed as the godmother to the Pacific Adventure during a special onboard ceremony attended by more than 200 esteemed guests. The celebration will feature P&O's talented entertainers serenading the attendees, followed by Ricki-Lee's captivating performance of Tina Turner's iconic hit, "The Best," paying tribute to the cruise line's guests, crews, and suppliers.
Ricki-Lee expressed her immense honor in being named the godmother as P&O celebrates 90 years of exceptional cruising. She extended her wishes of good luck, fun, and fortune to all those who cherish cruising on the Pacific Adventure.
President Marguerite Fitzgerald highlighted P&O's unwavering commitment to New South Wales, with the Adventure being based in Sydney throughout the year. She emphasized that P&O has been a pioneering force in Australian cruising, starting with its first voyage from Sydney. She proudly reiterated that P&O remains dedicated to Sydney even after 90 years and beyond.
Throughout P&O's 90th anniversary from Sydney, the Adventure will embark on 58 voyages from the New South Wales capital, providing memorable experiences for nearly 200,000 guests exploring Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific. This year, more than half a million people will have the privilege of sailing with P&O Australia, making it an extraordinary milestone for the beloved cruise line.
