All Things LIQUID – 11th August

The Shard, London

Today’s Cruise & Travel Show took you around the world of liquid refreshments, a whirlwind tour of the best beverages to sample.  The most common liquid in the world is of course Water, and you will ‘sea’ plenty of it with this week’s Cruise Deal – a romantic 53 night voyage from London all the way back Down Under…

And so it begins…on the 6th October 2019 you fly to London, UK.  On arrival you have a private transfer awaiting you, ready to whisk you off to your downtown hotel.   Located near The British Museum, Shaftesbury Theatre and the Tottenham Court Road Tube Station, this 4* hotel is the perfect base for exploring this historic city.  We’ll even include a pass to take you to the top of The Shard for an amazing panoramic view of London.  In total, its 3 nights in London, complete with daily breakfast.

Westminster, London

Your transfer will take you from the heart of London out to the port of Tilbury, where the Vasco da Gama is waiting to welcome you on board.  In her previous life she was named Statendam (Holland America Lines) and Pacific Eden (P&O Australia), but now finds herself with the British cruise line Cruise & Maritime Voyages.  Carrying only 1,250 passengers she is smaller and more intimate than most large ships, but retains all the creature comforts you expect from a modern cruise ship.  Multiple dining options, a wide array of lounges and bars, spacious cabins and a wonderful aft deck and pool that stretches out to the horizon!

Over the next 53 nights you will sail the world, travelling though Europe, the Caribbean Islands, Panama Canal, Central America and the South Pacific Islands.  You will enjoy lazy days on board while crossing the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.  You will traverse both the Equator and the International Date Line.  You’ll enjoy an overnight stay in magical Barbados, and have a day in the relatively unexplored Marquesas Island.  You’ll go ‘Loco in Acapulco‘, ‘Play it Again’ in Casablanca and sing ‘Bali Ha’i’ on the beaches of Bora Bora.

Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca – Barbados Beach
The Locks at the Panama Canal – Cliff Divers in Acapulco

When you finally arrive in Sydney it will be the first time the Vasco da Gama has sailed under the Harbour Bridge in its current guise, so expect a little pomp and circumstance!  Unfortunately, that is where the cruise ends, and you reluctantly disembark your home for the last 2 months.

This really is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so don’t miss out on this cruise.  The full package includes flights to London, 3 nights hotel stay with Breakfast (and the tickets to The Shard), all transfers in London and the spectacular 53 night cruise on board the Vasco da Gama….all priced at $9,250 per person!  We’ll even throw in $700 per cabin on board credit.  We have Ocean View Cabins and Balcony Cabins also available, and the higher up you go, the more on board credit we include!  If you want to fly to the UK earlier for more sightseeing or visiting family – that can also be easily arranged….
