Terms and Conditions
All wholesalers require deposits to secure your travel arrangements. In addition to this deposit, Travel Masters reserves the right to request an additional amount of up to $250 per person. All deposits are deducted from Final Payments and therefore are NOT an additional charge. Deposits are non-refundable from the time of payment and should be protected by Travel Insurance.
It is mandatory that the names of all travellers be exactly as per your passport or other identification as may be required. It is your responsibility to notify your consultant of the correct information as the time of making your booking. Any costs associated with name changes on any documents are your responsibility.
All Prices quoted are for payment by Cash and/or Cheque and are payable by the due date or before. Failure to do so could result in any reservations made being cancelled. Credit Card payments attract credit card fees which may vary from time to time; you will be advised of the fee at the time of payment. Payments are requested 14 days prior to the deadline given by the wholesaler or cruise line, so as to give us enough time for bank processing.
If travel arrangements are cancelled prior to final payment, in addition to any cancellation fees charged by the wholesaler/s, Travel Masters will retain the additional sum paid at the time of depositing. If cancellation occurs after final payment is made, in addition to any cancellation fees charged by Cruise Lines and/or Airlines/ Hotels/ Tour Operators Travel Masters will retain 10% of the Fly/cruise or Cruise Only fare inclusive of all taxes, port charges and accommodation packages. The amounts retained by Travel Masters are industry standards and are claimable through Travel Insurance. Travel Insurance is strongly recommended to protect clients against cancellation costs.
We recommend early payment to guarantee your holiday costing. All costs are subject to currency fluctuation, fuel charges and government taxes which may vary at any time without notice. Travel Masters will endeavor to notify you of any changes as soon as they occur, however any increase in cost is your responsibility.
PORT CHARGES & TAXES
Government & local port authorities’ port charges are subject to fluctuation and are required by law to be costed separately from the cruise fare. Airline taxes are also subject to currency fluctuation, and are converted at the exchange rate when final payment is made. Hence port charges and airline tax figures act as a guide only.
On certain cruise and fly/cruise packages, tipping is included in the fare. Where this is not listed under the ‘package inclusions’ the international recommendation is USD $8.00 – USD $10.00 per passenger per day which will be divided between your cabin steward, dining room waiter and busboy. Please note on certain cruise lines this charge is automatically added to your onboard account – but is still optional.
Where your reservation on a particular cruise has been confirmed as a ‘cabin guarantee’ the cruise line is accepting your reservation for that particular grade or higher, rather than a specific cabin number. Cabin numbers are confirmed either when your cruise documents are issued, or, upon embarkation with a guarantee you will not be allocated below this grade.
RUN OF SHIP
Based on special discounted rates, cruise companies periodically release ‘run of ship’ cruise and fly/cruise packages where cabin numbers are allocated at ships’ discretion either when your cruise documents are issued or upon embarkation. No requests for particular numbers or their locations can be made when travelling on these discounted rates. If you wish to request a specific cabin or location we suggest you book the standard brochure costing to satisfy your requirements.
Advertised lead-in cruise and fly/cruise packages are subject to airline, hotel and cruise availability at the time of booking. Where these lead in packages are not available, the cruise company may offer an alternative grade of cabin for your consideration. We strongly recommend early bookings to avoid disappointment. Pre and post cruise land packages may need to be adjusted to suit flight schedules and availability. No allocations are being held with airlines or hotels.
It is strongly recommended that adequate travel insurance be purchased at the time the deposit is paid. We offer insurance which provides extensive medical, cancellation, and luggage cover. Contact us for further details. In the event that an insurance claim is made and insurance was not purchased through this office, we reserve the right to charge a fee of up to $100 per person to cover the preparation of claim documents.
Valid passports are required for most fly/cruise and cruise only product, with at least six months validity after the date of return to Australia. Certain ports of call may require visas prior to departure. We are happy to assist travellers with updated visa requirements and prepare application forms with express service to the Consulates. Fees apply for this service.
In the event that you are travelling to a country or countries which do not require a visa for Australian passport holders, you must tell us if you have been arrested or convicted in respect of any offence or breach of law. Non disclosure of this information may lead to your being refused entry on arrival in certain countries. In that event, we take no responsibility whatsoever. If you do not wish to disclose such information to us, then you must contact the embassy of each country of destination and make your own arrangements in regard to entry to that country.
In the event that an accident, disaster or emergency is reported to have occurred in a country where I/we will or may be travelling, I/we authorise you to disclose to the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade details of my/our itinerary (including without limitation, transport and accommodation arrangements) and my/our contact details within Australia and overseas.
THE ABOVE TERMS & CONDITIONS ARE TO BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE BOOKING CONDITIONS OF THE SPECIFIC CRUISE LINE RELATIVE TO ANY CURRENT OR FUTURE RESERVATION
